NOTES TO DESIGNERS
Please refer to the graphic templates provided on each product page, which outline all bleeds, wrapped zones, and margins, to ensure your design remains within the Safe Viewable Areas.
All graphic files must be built at 125 DPI at the full graphic layout size.
All files must be created in CMYK mode to ensure the best four-colour process results.
Please flatten all images and outline all text to ensure that nothing shifts, drops, or changes during the transfer process (unless providing PMS callouts).
If you require a specific colour match, you must provide a Pantone colour. When submitting PMS callouts, please send us a layered file so we can modify the relevant elements. The first callout is free; each additional callout will be charged $25. Read more here: PANTONE CALLOUTS
Ensure all fonts are outlined and images are embedded.
Be aware of Safe Viewable Zones and guides that may crop your design. Using these guidelines during layout will help ensure important elements stay visible.
If your product/template includes Wrapped Zones, note that these areas will wrap around the sides or back of the display, as specified in the template. Use this space wisely, keeping its positioning in mind.
ACCEPTED FILE FORMATS
We prefer TIF or PDF file types; however, any Photoshop- or Illustrator-compatible format will work.
SUGGESTED DESIGN SOFTWARE
Large format artwork should be prepared using professional design software. We recommend Adobe Illustrator, as our templates can be opened directly in the program and designed over. Photoshop and InDesign are also acceptable:
- In Photoshop, match the resolution listed in the template.
- In InDesign, set the canvas size to the dimensions specified before importing artwork.
Please note: Canva, Microsoft Office, and other non-design software will not work for creating large-format artwork.
ARTWORK PROOFS
Digital proofs will be provided within 24 hours of artwork submission. An order must be placed before submitting artwork for proofing. Proofs are intended to confirm size, content, and layout.
It is the client’s responsibility to check for spelling errors, content issues, image quality, or any other design flaws prior to final approval.
ARTWORK PROOFS MUST BE APPROVED BY 12PM PACIFIC TIME TO BE SENT INTO PRODUCTION THE FOLLOWING BUSINESS DAY.
If proof approval is received after this deadline, production will begin the next business day.
FILE UPLOAD
Files may be uploaded by clicking the “Upload Files” link in the confirmation email or at the top of the page. Alternatively, for larger files, please visit display.wetransfer.com.
Be sure to reference your company name or client name/order number in the message field when sending files via WeTransfer.
Artwork proofs will be sent to you by the next business day. If you have not received a proof within that timeframe, please contact us directly.
